Chinese Food

A butcher's stall in GuangZhou, China. The big red Chinese characters on the glass say "Authentic dog meat and mutton from Lei State." Please don't cry. Apparently fissiped mammal as food is more common in GuangZhou than I thought.

Children

Picture taken at Wuhan Institute of Physical Educations. These children are usually Olympian candidates.

No Blogging in China

After trying to view my blog online in China for a week, I conclude that China has banned blogging, and effectively, free speech. What a bummer. I'll have to resort to email posting.

By the way, I have not seen a blue sky since February 15. Not in Shenzhen, not in Wuhan, and certainly not in Shanghai. I don't suppose Beijing will be better. Maybe I should try Hainan.
